May 30, 2008: Los Angeles Times announces CCF’s annual Visual Arts Fellowship Awards (PDF)

May 22, 2008: Los Angeles County has one of the worst poverty rates in the nation. The California Community Foundation recently co-sponsored a poverty simulation at a Salvation Army facility in downtown Los Angeles. The simulation helped our donors understand how hard it is to survive if you’re one of the 3.7 million people who do not have enough income to meet basic needs.
